2026 Minimum Attorney Fee Schedule in Turkey
The Turkish Bar Association (TBB) has published the 2026 Minimum Attorney Fee Schedule in the Official Gazette, bringing significant increases to legal service fees across Turkey. This comprehensive update reflects the current economic conditions and establishes new standards for attorney compensation in the Turkish legal system.
General Increase Rates
The new tariff, published in the Official Gazette, implements an average increase of 36.15% for fixed fees. Additionally, a new 13% bracket has been added to the Third Section determining proportional tariff fees. This regulation adapts the value of legal services to current economic conditions in Turkey.
Legal Consultation and Other Legal Services
1 – Oral and Written Consultation
Office Consultation:
- First hour consultation fee has increased by 14.29% from 3,500 TL to 4,000 TL (approximately $95 or €82)
- Each additional hour: 1,800 TL ($43 or €37), representing a 20% increase
On-Site Consultation:
- First hour fee has risen by 16.67% to 7,000 TL ($166 or €144)
- Each additional hour: 3,500 TL ($83 or €72), a 16.67% increase
Written Consultation:
- First hour fee: 7,000 TL ($166 or €144), increased by 16.67%
- Each additional hour: 3,500 TL ($83 or €72), a 16.67% increase
2 – Drafting of Petitions and Documents
Under Turkish law, the fees for document preparation have been substantially increased:
- Drafting petitions, notices, warnings, and protests: 6,000 TL ($142 or €124), a 33.33% increase
- Preparation of lease agreements and similar documents: 8,000 TL ($190 or €165), a 33.33% increase
- Drafting articles of association, regulations, inheritance contracts, wills, foundation deeds and similar documents: 32,000 TL ($760 or €659), a 33.33% increase
- Company articles of association, company transfers and mergers, and related commercial transactions: 21,000 TL ($499 or €432), a 31.25% increase
3 – Mediation Services
In Turkey, when mediation activities result in disagreement, the fee for party representatives has increased by 14.29% to 8,000 TL ($190 or €165).
Legal Assistance in Business Follow-Up
Turkish legal professionals charge the following fees for various business matters:
- Documentation of situations, collection of payments, or obtaining document copies: 6,000 TL ($142 or €124), a 20% increase
- Transactions involving the creation, determination, registration, transfer, modification, termination or protection of rights: 12,000 TL ($285 or €247), a 33.33% increase
- Each legal assistance provided to banks, financial institutions and similar entities under permanent contracts for mortgage establishment and release: 3,000 TL ($71 or €62), a 33.33% increase
- Signing of company establishment agreements and follow-up of related procedures for legal entity merchants: 60,000 TL ($1,425 or €1,235), a 33.33% increase
- Transactions followed up in tax reconciliation commissions: 24,000 TL ($570 or €494), a 33.33% increase
International Jurisdictions
For cases in international courts under Turkish jurisdiction:
- Non-hearing proceedings: 110,000 TL ($2,612 or €2,265), a 37.5% increase
- Hearing proceedings: 200,000 TL ($4,749 or €4,118), a 33.33% increase
Consumer Arbitration Committees
The minimum fee for legal assistance provided to provincial and district consumer arbitration committees and fruit and vegetable market arbitration committees in Turkey has increased by 40% to 7,000 TL ($166 or €144).
Contracted Attorney Fees in Turkey
1 – Mandatory Contracted Attorneys
- Monthly fee for mandatory contracted attorneys in housing cooperatives (per Article 35 of the Turkish Attorney Law): 27,000 TL ($641 or €556), a 40.63% increase
- Monthly fee for mandatory contracted attorneys in joint stock companies: 45,000 TL ($1,068 or €927), a 40.63% increase
2 – Private and Legal Entities

2 – Partnership and Division Matters
- Follow-up of transactions in sales offices for dissolution of partnership: 18,000 TL ($427 or €371), a 44% increase
- Partnership dissolution and division cases: 40,000 TL ($950 or €824), a 40.35% increase
3 – Tax Courts
In Turkish Tax Courts:
- Non-hearing proceedings: 30,000 TL ($712 or €618), a 66.67% increase
